I designed and implemented a comprehensive digital marketing strategy for Yuu Japanese Tapas, focusing on social media growth, influencer collaborations, and campaign execution. My work included refreshing the brand’s RED (Xiaohongshu) account, creating tailored content for Instagram, and managing paid advertising campaigns on Google.

Problem

Yuu Japanese Tapas faced limited digital visibility and inconsistent engagement across platforms. The RED account was inactive with outdated visuals, which hindered brand storytelling and discoverability. Despite a loyal local customer base, the restaurant struggled to reach new audiences online and generate consistent foot traffic for new menu launches.

Strategy

To address these challenges, I developed a digital-first approach combining organic content, influencer marketing, and targeted advertising:

  • Revitalized the RED account with cohesive branding, high-quality visuals, and consistent posting.

  • Partnered with Vancouver-based food influencers to amplify menu promotions and reach student communities.

  • Deployed paid campaigns (Google Ads, keyword targeting) to capture search-driven traffic.

  • Implemented SEO improvements to boost online discoverability and track measurable results.
